Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains how Farefika ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use https://www.farefika.com (the "site"). We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is Bimal, Sweden. Contact: ndfxhub@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site (legitimate interest).
• Your choices (cookie consent, currency) stored in your browser's local storage (necessary for the service).
• Messages you send via the contact form or email: name, email and message, used only to reply (legitimate interest / your request).
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address (and the site language you used) is stored by our hosting provider's form service so we can send the newsletter (your consent). You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or by emailing us, and we then delete your address.
• Site search runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us. If you click a partner search result, the partner receives your search on its own site.

We do not ask you for payment details. Bookings are made on our partners' websites under their own privacy policies.

Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary: we store your cookie choice and currency preference locally. These do not track you across sites.

Partner and affiliate cookies (only with your consent): the flight search box is provided by Travelpayouts / Aviasales. Hotel and car links lead to partners such as Booking.com and car rental comparison sites. When the search tools load, or when you click a partner link, these partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to process your search and to record that you came from Farefika, so that we can receive a commission. Search tools load only after you click "Accept all". Clicking a partner link takes you to the partner's own site, where their cookie notice applies.

Advertising (only with your consent): we show Google AdSense ads, clearly labelled "Advertisement". The AdSense script loads only after you click "Accept all" (or, if we use Google's certified consent message, according to the choice you make there). Google and its partners may then use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button in the footer, and delete cookies in your browser settings.

Partners

Partners receive data directly from your browser under their own policies, for example Travelpayouts and Booking.com, and the tour, insurance, eSIM and transfer providers linked from our pages (for example GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, Klook, EKTA, VisitorsCoverage, Airalo, Yesim, Kiwitaxi, Intui.travel and GetTransfer). Some partners are located outside the EU/EEA; such transfers are governed by the partners' own safeguards.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and then deleted, normally within 12 months. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us at ndfxhub@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) or your local supervisory authority.
